In this tasting we’ll be exploring two of the world’s most-loved grape varieties, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We’ll taste four of each to demonstrate the complexity available from around the world. Sauvignon Blanc is the most popular white grape for us at Averys, so expect pure fruit expressions from Marlborough and the Loire mixed with a more unique style from Bordeaux and one more mystery location! Cabernet Sauvignon is the most-planted grape variety in the world, so we have many areas to explore. Is Bordeaux still the best area for Cabernet or can the New World rival quality and price?
