Our Christmas tastings programme wouldn’t be the same without our eagerly awaited season finale, the Director’s Christmas Cup, and in keeping with recent times we have decided once again to pitch battle between the young and elder statesmen of the company.

The 2012 Christmas Cup promises to see rivalry as fierce as ever, with everything to play for.

Wines will be selected by the opposing teams from across the price spectrum, each team putting forward one wine in five festive pairs, each carefully chosen to accompany traditional Christmas Fayre. Guests will then be invited to vote on their favourite.

A three course dinner will follow, matched to further wines, when the victors and defeated join together and don aprons to carve the joint.

These evenings of enormous festive fun are always in great demand, so early booking is strongly advised.
