Clos Ste Hune: The Vertical

To most enthusiasts, Trimbach's Clos Sainte Hune is not only Alsace's best Riesling, but also one of the world's finest white wines. This 1.4ha parcel of Grand Cru vines produces fewer than 700 cases of wine per year and it is said to age superbly, but it is very rare to see back vintages due to the rarity of the bottles. We have a long queue of sommelier clients that take whatever Ste Hune we can give them, but after buying a parcel of various vintages we decided that now was the perfect time to host a vertical tasting to take an in depth look at the place and producer responsible for this legendary wine.
We will be tasting the following vintages: 2006, 2005, 2004, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1997, 1987, 1986
