Corofin Wines – Free Wine Tasting
Tuesday 13 November 2018
,
Mike Paterson is the winemaker at Corofin Vineyard in Marlborough and from his early days, he always had a desire to create a wine business that didn’t compromise on quality to make something truly authentic.
Flash forward to 2018 and that is exactly what he’s done with his partner Anna. With a connection to the land as their driving ethos, Paterson wants to capture the essence of the site in the wines they make at Corofin. This is more important to him than demonstrating fruit intensity or winemaking ambition. For this reason, they have chosen to focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes as they believe they best reflect the expression of the land.
With a story like that, we have a strong feeling we won’t be missing you at this spectacular free tasting going down Tuesday 13th November at The New Zealand Cellar. Mike will be here to run us through how Corofin started, the journey up until this point … and of course to sample some of his favourite drops from the winery.
As always, 6pm start and bring you wallets along because you know these wines will all be discounted on the evening too. Can hardly wait!
