Discover Wines of Burgundy and the Loire Valley - East London
This is the evening to get to know one of the most prestigious wine regions in France! Burgundy is one of the most complex of the French wine regions and in the world, prices are dictated by supply and demand and demand is high! We help unravel it's mystery with some delicious white wines, such as Chablis, then a more full bodied wines from the Macon, but same grape variety....do you know the principal white grape from the region? We'll also be sampling wines from the lesser known grape Aligote. Pinot Noir is the most well known red grape of the region, producing wine with red fruit nuances, complex and elegant. Plus we'll taste wines from the Gamay grape principally used in Beaujolais. We'll also be trying some wine from the Loire Valley - maybe some ChinonSancerrePouilly Fume.,the underrated Muscadet Sur Lie....so many fabulous wine to try in on evening. We'll be tasting at least of 6 wonderful wines.
