Forget about the Bank Holidays – May 2019 in London is looking to be renamed “Kiwi Wine Appreciation Month” with this just in – Anna Flowerday from one of our favourite Marlborough Wineries has just confirmed an evening with us. Yes folks, we are talking about Te Whare Ra!

For those amongst you struggling to get your mouth around the pronunciation, it is said TE-FARE-RHA. For those of you who can’t wait to get your mouth around these wines … you are in good company.

The oldest boutique winery in Marlborough, Te Whare Ra was established in 1979 by Allena and Joyce Hogan. Allen’s reputation for making outstanding aromatics grey and is what TWR has become known for today. In 2003 Anna and Jason Flowerday appeared on the scene and took over, fresh from working as winemakers in Australia and looking for a place to call their own.

And we are so thrilled that they did, because now their incredible products find a happy place in our glasses.

The drill is simple, show up for 5.30pm for 6pm start, get your name of the list of the session you’d like to join and get ready to fall in love.

Looking forward to seeing your there
