Gourmet supper club in aid of Action for Education

A Syrian inspired feast cooked up by award-winning chef Ben Spalding who earned his stripes at Michelin starred The Fat Duck, The Ledbury and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and now creates his own gastronomic projects on the global stage. Accompanying him, a team of foodie social entrepreneurs from purpose-driven collective, Impact Hub Islington will share their culinary creations including cocktails by Tearoute aperitifs by Elysia Catering and dessert by Laila Naanaa from United Kitchens, herself a refugee from Syria.
This 3 course gourmet experience will be accompanied by a selection of exceptional French wines, including a glass of Crémant, supplied by Family Helfrich the premium independents and on-trade arm of leading French wines producer, Groupe GCF.
During the evening, Action for Education founder Nick Millet will share the story of his work providing emergency education for children and young people in the refugee camps on the Greek island of Chios.
