Handford Wines : Mas La Plana Vertical with Toni Batet from Torres

It is great to have Toni from Torres to guide us through this Mas La Plana Vertical. Toni has worked for Torres for several years in the roles of Global sommelier, Brand Ambassador and now as Export Manager.
Decanter Man of the year 2002 Miguel Torres is undoubtedly the driving force that has transformed Penedès into a globally renowned fine wine region. The single Vineyard Mas La Plana put Torres on the fine wine map in the 1970’s, when it triumphed at the Paris wine Olympiad beating Chateau Latour amongst other prestigious wines. More recently, and we like to think just as importantly, it won the plaudits at our ‘Cabernet Sauvignons from around the World’ tasting.
