Jimmy's South Africa: Part 2 Walker Bay, Elgin & Bot River

Tuesday 8 July 2014

,

In February 2014 West London Wine School founder travelled to the emerging vinous land of South Africa to find out what all the fuss was about. He traversed the exciting wine regions of Stellenbosch, Franschoek, Walker Bay, Elgin, Bot River and Swartland and discovered that South African wine is currently the best it's ever been, comparable today on the world-wine stage to the great regions of Europe.

This second part explores the emerging cooler regions of South Africa; the Hemel Aarde Valley (Heaven-on-Earth) in Walker Bay, Elgin and the old trading post Bot River.
