La Rioja Alta: Meet the winemaker

La Rioja Alta is one of the finest and most celebrated producers in the Rioja region. With a history dating back to 1890, it is renowned as a benchmark for traditionally styled Rioja wines. The firm owns 360 hectares of vineyards across some of the region’s best sites, which it draws on along with top quality grapes from other growers to produce wines including their famous 890 and 904 Gran Reservas as well as the ever popular Vina Ardanza Reserva.
