JancisRobinson.com Languedoc Night
Sunday 18 November 2018
,
As regular visitors know, our UK tasting events are designed to showcase wines we think deserve more attention than they normally receive. Hence, we organised a series of Barolo Nights, until British wine lovers finally fell in love with these wines. We followed up with evenings devoted specifically to Barbaresco, Brunello, Sherry and German Riesling. (We're holding a Chianti Classico Night later this month but it is fully booked.)
Now it's the turn of the Languedoc, which both Tam and Jancis feel is the source of some fascinating, under-appreciated, and generally underpriced wines, of all three colours. On Sunday 18 November we'll be holding a walk-round, self-pour tasting in our usual format at Caravan, King's Cross. There will be about 40 hand-picked wines on offer, and food will be served during the second half of the evening, in a separate section of these capacious premises from the wine tasting.
