Welcome to NOT the Usual Suspects, a wine event all about the weird and the wonderful, the unusual, the new and the old.

On the Sunday the thirtieth of November, at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide, we will be showing off wines from over forty producers with just the one, teensy little catch:

NO chardonnay, riesling, sauv blanc, shiraz, merlot, pinot noir or cab sauv.

So, all those ‘new’ varieties you are starting to see in the bottleshop, and on your favourite wine lists? Come along and have a chat with the people making them as to what the wines look like, what foods to match, where they came from, and (occasionally) how to pronounce the damn things…!
