The online 8-week World Course is structured as a practical introduction to the world of wine. It is designed specifically for people who enjoy wine and would like to learn more about it. You do not need any previous experience, and the emphasis is on learning by tasting different varieties of wine. It is also a great way to meet new friends who share your love of wine. You will soon learn which wines you like and where to buy them.

WHAT SHOULD I GET FROM THE COURSE?

• You will have gained a good understanding of the world's major grape varieties and the wine styles they produce.
• You will have been taught to assess, & taste wine like a true professional, and be able to identify any faults found in wine (e.g. a corked wine).
• During the 8 Evenings we will have tasted wines from most of the worlds major wine regions (Tasting approx 60 wines)
• Food & wine matching will also have given you a lot of confidence to try new wine pairings with your favourite foods.
• You will also have developed your sense of smell and wine vocabulary & met some new friends.

Course Wines: For this course, students will receive tasting kits with 50ml samples of the wines tasted throughout the duration of this course. 

• Tasting kit delivery can be made to anywhere within the UK. If you are interested in receiving the course tasting kits, however your delivery address is not within the UK, please get in touch BEFORE booking as depending where you are located, we may be able to still arrange delivery for an additional fee.
• If you do NOT want to receive a tasting kit, and just want to book onto the course without receiving wine samples that is absolutely fine! Please just enter the code 8WKREG as a ‘Promotional Code’ upon checking out, and the tasting kit associated fees on this course will be removed before you make course payment. The full course registration fee is £80.

Unable to commit on an evening? No problem! Anyone registered for this course will gain access to the video recording of the live event, so you can always revisit any of these at anytime in the future - whether its because you missed participating in the live evening or if you want to revisit the presentation at a later date.
