Online: WSET Level 1 Award in Wines with Enjoy Discovering Wine

A fun, relaxed one day wine course in which you discover the popular types and styles of wine and gain a globally recognised qualification. Through a combination of two x 2 hour online sessions with wine educator Helen Evans, a couple of hours of independent learning using your study book and the tasting of eight wine samples – all of which are included in the course fee – you will learn:

• How to taste and describe wine
• The main wine grapes and their characteristics
• The principles of food & wine pairing – very helpful when you are selecting wine from a menu or in a shop to accompany a meal
• How to store and serve wine

It’s a fantastic introduction to wine for enjoyment or for professional purposes. Our Level 1 courses are held once a month on Sundays, starting at the sociable time of 11am and finish around 4pm.
