Riding on the wave of the exceptional 2015 vintage, 2016 is producing wines with elegance and finesse despite the extreme conditions in the Northern Rhone.
The Southern Rhone however enjoyed another year of perfect weather with surprisingly cool nights counterbalanced by hot, dry days. Combined with a warm September the near-perfect fruit is producing wines that are challenging the outstanding 2015 vintage, especially in Chateauneaf-de-Pape.Join us at the amazing Maison Assouline for the rare opportunity to sample and order the 2016 vintage of some of the top Rhone producers alongside vintages which are ready to drink.
