Sherryfest Seminar: Sherry Pairing
Monday 7 October 2013
,
Hosted by Fernando de Castilla and Williams & Humbert
Sherry is always at its best when served with food, and as a wine, it’s notable for its versatility, able to thrive alongside a wide variety of flavors. We’ll be pouring a range of dry sherries—Fino, Manzanilla, Amontillado, Palo Cortado and Oloroso—to accompany a selection of small dishes, discussing the interaction between food and wine and demonstrating the flexibility of sherry at the table.
Jan Pettersen of Fernando de Castilla and Rafael Rodríguez of Williams & Humbert will be on hand to present their wines and share their thoughts, and we’ll also welcome special guest Beltrán Domecq, president of the Consejo Regulador de Jerez and author of the book Sherry Uncovered.
