Silver Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration with Sommelier Dieter Schafer

This year we are celebrating our Silver Beaujolais Nouveau! says Sommelier Dieter Schafer, a longtime member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest (FACCPNW). Dieter will be presenting tasting seminars throughout the evening. ~ ~ ~

The 25th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival – organized by FACCPNW – will be held at the Columbia Tower Club in Seattle. L’Union Interprofessionelle du Beaujolais awarded him the designation “Vigneron d’Honneur du Beaujolais” during the 2003 Beaujolais Nouveau event. In addition to helping at Beaujolais Nouveau events, Dieter Schafer actively participated for several years at Bastille Day celebrations, coordinating Bal des Pompiers dinners and conducting wine tastings. For the past three years Dieter presented “Wine Tour de France” at Seattle’s French Fest: A Celebration of French-Speaking Cultures. ~ ~ ~
