Terroir Trail: Alsace Grand Cru Walkaround Tasting with West London Wine School

The tasting will begin at 6:30pm until 9.30pm. You may wish to turn-up-and-taste for an hour or the full three hours. You will be given a TERROIR TRAIL booklet where you can follow and taste by soil type or grape variety. This is an excellent opportunity to taste the greatest examples of Alsace, the Grand Crus, amidst their differing locations and mosiacs of terroir. Wine School founder Jimmy Smith will of course be on hand to help you... he's not going to miss this one! Jimmy Smith was awarded the much coveted Consoeur Oenophile from the Confrérie Saint-Etienne a'Alsace, a brotherhood that can be traced to the 14th century, making it one of the oldest wine brotherhoods in France.
