Top Notch Champagne at West London Wine School

Despite what’s the news says Christmas IS going ahead. And what better way to celebrate the end of this rather strange year than with Champagne? So grab your friends and family for a socially distanced tasting with us! Chief Tutor Jimmy Smith has hand-selected eight of his favourite Champagnes to taste in one decadent evening in the lead-up to the Christmas festivities. There will be a tutored tasting on the region, production methods, regional districts and looking at (and tasting of course) the differences between the Grand Marques (famous Champagne houses e.g. Bollinger) and smaller Grower Champagne. We'll have a few local Champagne cheeses on offer too to soak up the fizz. There will be eight Champagnes on tasting including a top vintage prestige cuvee such as Krug Grand Cuvee/Dom Perignon etc. Full list will be announced shortly. There will be a full presentation (mainly of pictures), tasting notes and tasting sheets. This is in perfect time for Xmas too - why not treat you and your friends/colleagues to a wonderful decadent evening. Nibbles and canapes will be served.
