English Wine for an English Summer – BREAKING NEWS – we will have a representative from Hush Heath vineyards in Kent presenting their wines.
Join us on a muggy August evening as we taste some fine examples from the enlarging and improving wine industry on our home shores of good ol' Blighty. In a truly fascinating tasting we will discover practically the emerging wonderful newcomers on the international stage of wine from producers such as Camel Valley (Cornwall), Chapel Down (Kent) and Bolney, Ridgeview & Nyetimber (Sussex) as well as many others. Indeed the sparkling wines of the UK are achieving high acclaim from worldwide wine critics with many of our fine examples being pitched against Champagne and emerging as strong competitors and sometimes as victors!
