What's Going On With Australian Shiraz?

Wednesday 20 February 2013

,

Shiraz has long defined what many of us think of when we think of Aussie reds; massive, extrovert blackcurrant and spice elixirs. But things are charging, a search for elegance and ‘drinkability’ rather than power and trophy winning seems to have taken hold of the winemakers Down Under. This is going to be a real treat of a session for lovers of luscious reds. Probably a good set of wines to ward of the late winter chills too.
