From Mercury to Meursault – Burgundy Classics

For 2014, in partnership with Hush Brasseries we are taking a tour around the wine world with a series of monthly wine & food pairings.

Starting with “From Mercury to Meursault” (classic Burgundy) and travelling via Germany and Austria “Teutonic Tipples” to Northern Italy “La Dolce Vita”, will take place once a month, on Mondays at Hush St Paul’s and Tuesdays at Hush Holborn; and all with four courses inspired by Hush’s European-influenced Brasserie menu, newly curated each month to reflect and complement the wines served.

This Monday we will explore some of Burgundies classics tasting 1er Cru and Villages wines from the regions hallowed terroirs, as well as from those lesser known but equally important appellations, key in navigating smart buys from any Burgundy list.
