WINE CAR BOOT – London's best independent shops sampling and selling their wines. Taste your way out of the supermarket.

WINE CAR BOOT is back in town this summer in a brand new venue with more shops, new shops, more food and a bigger space.

This is set to be the biggest yet, serving also as the closing party for the very first London Wine Week (02 June – 08 June).

It’s the perfect time to get out in the sun and find your wines for the summer from London’s best independent shops. Come the morning of Sunday June 08, a group of independent shops – some new and some from the first two Wine Car Boots will be parking up under the West Handyside Canopy just of Granary Square, right by Kings Cross station and St Martin’s Art College. As before they’ll have their five favourite wines on offer, for everyone to try, buy, taste and drink throughout the afternoon.

Tickets are only £10 and include five free tastes, a wine bottle carrier (to fill up with bottles to take home) and a specialist Govino outdoor tasting glass. Once again attendees can top up with more tasting tokens, buy whole glasses and bottles to drink in and take home.

Confirmed shops include Wine Car Boot favourites Bottle Apostle, Roberson, DVine Cellars, The Good Wine Shop, Borough Wines, Planet of the Grapes and Vinoteca alongside first timers ranging from Austrian specialists Newcomer Wines from Box Park, Dalston's Vin Vixen, Theatre of Wine, and Lea & Sandeman. Not forgetting old classics Haynes, Hanson & Clark and Wine Car Boot’s first Royal Warrant holder, Berry Bros & Rudd. As special guest we've got LDNCRU – London's first urban winery pouring the first ever vintage of their 'Made in London' wine.

As usual we’ll have plenty of food – cheese toasties, paella, wood fired pizza, burgers, oysters and langoustines – and a bit of music to keep everyone going throughout the afternoon.
