The WineBarn - Portfolio Wine Tasting Cambridge

The WineBarn are delighted to invite wine enthusiasts and buyers to our Wine Tasting event at St Catharine’s College in Cambridge on Wednesday 11th March 2020. Guests will be treated to an informative and informal tasting journey through some of Germany’s most sophisticated new and mature wines. There will be over 30 wines available to try, including a variety of sparkling Sekts, elegant Spätburgunders (Pinot Noir), vintage Rieslings and noble Dessert wines available to try. Many of the critically-acclaimed wines in our portfolio have won internationally recognised awards. We are also proud to say that the majority of the winemakers in our portfolio are members of the VDP - an association whose members are amongst the most prestigious wine producers in Germany. We will be joined by two of our top winemakers - Uli Allendorf (Allendorf, Rheingau) and Markus Mleinek (Dr Heger, Baden), who will be there to offer insight into their regions' unique climates & soils, grape varieties, cellar techniques and more.
