Winemaker's dinner: Samuel Tottoli of Kuentz Bas, at Bellanger, London

We are very pleased to invite you to a dinner with Samuel Tottoli, winemaker at one of Alsace's finest estates, Kuentz-Bas. It will be held at Michelin recommended Bellanger, a traditional French restaurant on Islington Green in Angel, London, which is inspired by the original Alsatian brasseries of Paris. 

Founded in 1795, Kuentz-Bas have 10 hectares under vine, which include some parcels in the grand cru vineyards of Eichberg and Pfersigberg. All of the vinification is as low intervention as possible, as the aim is to properly express the terroir of the vineyards and to this end, the wines are then raised in either stainless steel tanks or century-old wooden casks. This meticulous attention results in a range of sustainable, authentic, food friendly wines that beautifully express their varietals and terroir.The dinner will feature six courses of traditional Alsatian fare, exquisitely paired with six Kuentz-Bas wines.
