Charles Metcalfe is one of the wine world's most ebullient and knowledgeable personalities, especially when it comes to the wines and regions of Portugal. Author of ‘The Wine & Food Lover’s Guide to Portugal’, which won the Louis Roederer International Wine Writer’s Book Award in 2008, we are delighted to welcome Charles to Roberson Wine for what promises to be a fun and illuminating evening.
Portugal is rightly lauded for offering some of Europe's best value wines, but with a large number of indigenous grape varieties and a complex web of regions to consider, Charles' insights will be very useful for those looking to learn more about the country's wines.
