Enjoy your time in the East Midlands newest Sparkling Wine Estate learning all about wines as part of WSET Level 2.

Let Amanda of Defining Wines take you to the next level of the wonderful world of wines and gain your level 2 qualification in Award in Wines, all in the beautiful setting of the Hanwell Wine Estate.

A 3 day course

Sunday 20th, 27th January and 3rd February 9:30am – 4:30pm (all 3 dates must be attended to qualify)

£385.00 including materials, refreshments, lunch and vineyard tour.

Our full qualified teacher Amanda Rowley has an infectious passion for wine and will share with you her knowledge, experience and prepare you for your assessment to gain your qualification.

This qualification has a minimum requirement of 28 hours of study time, followed by a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be notified of results 2 weeks after assessment.

PLEASE NOTE – You do not have to have done Level 1 to do Level 2. You can go straight to level 2 and miss 1 out. Alternatively if you can’t commit to the 3 day course and prefer 1 day then join us for Level 1.

The workshop is the ideal starting point for people who have an interest in wine, wine enthusiasts and people in the food service industry.

About Amanda Rowley – WSET-Dip

Amanda is the Training Director of Defining Wine Ltd, a company specialising in Wine Events and Education she started with her business partner and fellow wine lover, Andrew Rickwood in 2015.

Defining Wine is an Approved Programme Provider for the prestigious Wine and Spirit Education Trust and in 2017, Amanda successfully took over 200 delegates through WSET courses, starting from complete novices at level 1 through to industry professionals at Level 3. Spending 5 years working through the WSET qualification she gained her Diploma in Wines & Spirit then became an accredited trainer with WSET. In addition to running WSET courses, Amanda spends times travelling around the world, visiting wine regions (it’s a hard job, but someone’s got to do it!) and is a judge on the International Wine and Spirits Competition panel.
