16 June 2019 There are still a few tickets left for this self-pour tasting plus food to be held at Caravan King's Cross a week tonight. Just click on the link at the bottom...

29 May 2019 See what's in store for tasters able to attend our first tasting event devoted to Bordeaux. Julie Rey took this atmospheric picture of the vineyard from the reliable Ch Beaumont, whose 2016 and 2009 will be shown.

We are really looking forward to our Cru Bourgeois Night in London on Sunday 23 June, and now we can reveal exactly which vintages will be shown.

The idea is to show pairs of vintages from a hand-picked selection of up to 24 crus bourgeois, the superior châteaux of the Médoc that are just below cru classé status – one current and one more mature. We want to see how well they age and, in our usual detailed tasting booklet, will give some idea of their prices as well as how they were made.

Not surprisingly, most properties have chosen 2016, occasionally 2015, as their current vintage, and most of these are fairly easy to buy now. Then quite a number of them have been able to find bottles from the famous pair of vintages 2010 or 2009 to show us more mature examples. Some of them simply don't have such relative relics to hand and so are providing more youthful vintages. Here is what is planned:
