Gallo object to new US winemaking rules

The US Government, more specifically the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), recently published a ‘final notice’ confirming amendments to the materials and processes authorised for the treatment of wine and juice and adjusting the limits on others. These had already been approved on an experimental basis and are now permitted under what is known as a ‘temporary rule’ pending final regulatory action.
