Last week we caught up with David Hohnen, the laconic Western Australian who founded both Cape Mentelle of Margaret River and Cloudy Bay of Marlborough, one of the great white wine icons of our age. He regularly treks around Britain selling the wines of his new(er) family Margaret River winery, now that Cloudy Bay and Cape Mentelle belong to LVMH, McHenry Hohnen, where this picture was taken.
