The nine...
Impressions of South Africa
Jancis writes Young Shi is my representative in China and, as a hard-working MW student, commutes between the UK, Shanghai and the wine regions of the world. She was one of this year's successful applicants for an internship in one of the PIWOSA wineries in the Cape. Below she presents her impressions of South Africa as a result of this total immersion but she precedes this with a report on the surprising results of PIWOSA's recent tour of Asia. Here, in pale green trousers, she is seen trying to pick the French from the Cape wines in Shanghai.
