Noting that at least two UK merchants have announced they are organising a second showing of samples of 2012 burgundies, I wonder whether they are encountering a bit of price resistance to some of these wines? Some of the loudest grumbles I have heard have been about Grivot and Comte Liger-Belair price rises.
Meanwhile I thought I would punctuate my two Burgundy overviews published Burgundy 2012 – the prices and next Saturday Burgundy 2012 – the wines with a collection of more specific observations from my time on the Côte d'Or last month.
