Some notable dry Rieslings, mainly Australian

Here’s a range of Australian Rieslings tasted recently plus some notable Rieslings from elsewhere, one German re-tasted, an Austrian, a California and one of the last wines made by the late, talented Jimi Brooks in Oregon.

Jacob’s Creek Riesling 2004 South Eastern Australia 14 Drink now
That very obvious ‘perfumed talc’ smell of inexpensive Oz Riesling with some lime. Just off dry. 11.5%. No great concentration and the acidity could be more refreshing. This would be fine at £4.50 but doesn’t strike me as particularly good value...
