On this evening we will be exploring some of France’s best and most famous wine regions. This is where some of France’s most long lived and expensive wines are produced, and over the course of the evening we will discover how the areas have gained such a reputation, and taste a variety of the wines produced there.

Bordeaux is most famous for its wines, from Margaux to St Emilion, these are areas that many a wine fan will appreciate. But it is also worth experiencing their white wines and world renowned dessert wines, such as Sauternes.

In the Rhone valley blockbuster reds lead the way again, from Cote Rotie to Chateauneuf du Pape these are bold wines, with full flavour and spicy complexity. During the evening we will explain what each of these terms mean, and how you can better understand what to expect when buying a bottle in supermarket or restaurant.
