Yesterday was Graves day and what a pleasure it was. First off a tasting of the Haut-Brion stable at La Mission, in the very smart new tasting room there (to match that installed at Haut-Brion some years ago). The big news is that Prince Robert of Luxembourg has decided to abandon Ch La Tour Haut-Brion so that 2005 is the last year it will be produced. In theory the wine that went into La Tour HB will now go in to La Chapelle de La Mission, La Mission’s second wine, although one can’t help wondering whether a bit will also...
