During Nebbiolo Prima, I seized the chance to visit the Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno estate in the commune of Barolo. They are one of the many Borgogno families in the Langhe, most of whom are not related at all, I was told by Emanuela (pictured right), granddaughter to Serio.
