Bordeaux 2009 – guide to our coverage

5 March 2019 This week we are publishing a major re-assessment of 168 of the most important wines of this vintage at 10 years old.

30 January 2013 We're bringing this to your attention once more so that you can easily find the background to the vintage that was recently retasted in bottle in Southwold. We'll continue to add the most recent tasting articles, including Saturday's overview of the Southwold tasting and the state of the market for 2009 bordeaux.

Below is a guide to practically all that we have published about this extraordinary vintage in Bordeaux, including the all-important tasting notes, as well as constant updates.  While in Bordeaux in late March and early April  I tasted roughly 450 different wines, some of them more than once, always blind where possible. I have occasionally left in two notes on one wine where one was written when tasting it blind. I have now added dozens more tasting notes on wines tasted, or occasionally re-tasted, in London.

Note the continuing additions to the list of Other articles below.
