Special offer on my glasses

Jancis Robinson x Richard Brendon glasses with different wines

Save 10% on my glassware and help casualties in hospitality and the drinks trade via #RaiseYourGlass.

My partner in glass, product designer Richard Brendon, has just launched a cunning scheme whereby you can save 10% on his entire range of fine china and glass, including my beautiful glassware, and he will donate the amount you save to Hospitality Action and The Drinks Trust. Acknowledging how tough life still is for those in both hospitality and the drinks trade, the Richard Brendon team are giving 10% of sales via richardbrendon.com to these two well-run and carefully targeted charities.

To take advantage of this win-win offer, enter RAISEYOURGLASS when you check out at richardbrendon.com. The scheme runs until 4 October.

As Richard points out, ‘despite UK restaurants, bars, hotels and pubs re-opening, the impact coronavirus has had on businesses and individuals is ongoing. In reality, the problem is far from over. The #RaiseYourGlass campaign is our way of helping the hospitality and drinks industries at this tremendously difficult time. With so many unemployed and furloughed as a result of the coronavirus, from chefs, bartenders and sommeliers through to receptionists, housekeeping staff and kitchen porters, it’s more important than ever to show our support and help businesses and people get back on their feet.’

From his beginnings in fine bone-china production in Stoke-on-Trent, Richard’s aim has been to celebrate and preserve the craftsmanship still found in heritage industries. So when we decided to design the perfect wine glass together, it was a given that it would be handmade by specialist glass-blowers such as the man below.

You can read the full background to my glass (one, for all wines) and decanters (two, one for young wine and one for mature wine) here. All I would add in this short article about the current discount and donation is that the glasses, gossamer-thin as they are, are expressly designed to be dishwasher-proof. It’s worked for us for nearly three years now!

To buy a pair of beautifully packaged Jancis Robinson wine glasses for £63 and trigger a donation of £7 to Hospitality Action and The Drinks Trust click here – or you can buy six glasses for £180 and trigger a donation of £20 by changing the quantity you order.

To buy a Jancis Robinson young-wine decanter for £90 and trigger a donation of £10 to Hospitality Action and The Drinks Trust click here – or you can buy a mature-wine decanter, with smart stopper, for £112.50 and trigger a donation of £12.50.

And don't forget to use the discount code RAISEYOURGLASS at checkout to receive the discount and donate.

Do take advantage of this offer any time up to 4 October 2020.
