Tasting wines are to be confirmed

Often overlooked due to their chequered history, the South African wine industry has slowly but steadily been reinventing itself over the past decade. Join us in February for an evening of superb wines and delicious food as we taste through a great selection of some classic South African wines, including the award winning Meerlust Rubicon. After a casual reception, Katya, your host, will guide you through 7 of her favourite wines and the beautiful landscape in which they are made, while you enjoy dinner in this historic location.

The Tappit Hen is located in the Old Sandeman Port house, where their wines were bottled until the mid 1950’s. If you ask nicely, they may even take you down to the original 15th Century cellar! This is shaping up to be a fantastic evening, perfect for a date night or a social gathering with a twist.

Please note, seating at Masterclass events may be at communal tables, menus sometimes include sharing dishes.
