BRIGHTON - Top Notch Rioja

Rioja has a proud history of winemaking and fantastic awareness of it's smooth red wines all around the world.  This tasting will delve deeper into this famous wine region to look at the subzones, villages, key grapes, vintage and producers (new and traditional). We'll cover the history of Rioja and the recent changes to the wine law and labelling. Seven wines on tasting will include:

• Genericos
• Cosecheros 
• Crianza
• Reserva
• Gran Reserva

You will get the chance to try wines from classic traditional producers like Muga and Marques de Murrieta alongside younger generation winemakers. Some of the wines will be blends across a sub zone or several sub zones, others will be village or estate wines.,  If opulent, classy red wines based on Tempranillo are your thing then you will not want to miss out on this fantastic wine tasting.
