Burgundy Masterclass | Unearthing The Terroir

As we get ourselves ready to tackle the delightful Burgundy En Primeur season in early January, we sometimes forget that Burgundy as a region is fiendishly difficult to get to grips with. There are so many elements that play an integral part: the location, the Domain, the style, the winemaker, the vintage, and of course the all-important terroir. There’s no doubt that those wishing to make their first concerted forays into buying Burgundy have a daunting task ahead!   With this in mind, Honest Grapes promises to make the complicated wine world accessible. We have put together a virtual tasting pack of six wines from across the Burgundy spectrum – and I can tell you narrowing that down was no mean feat!
