Wine always has the ability to transport you and certainly every wine enjoyed in Chile has a story to tell! Chile has always over-delivered in terms of price. It made its name for most people with fruity Merlots from the Central Valley offering great value for money however there is so much more to discover. Rich and full bodied reds from the Carmenere grape it could be argued is Chile's point of difference, nowhere else in the world has planted the grape in this quantity (or quality). Pinot Noir and Syrah are thriving in the cooler climate regions of Bio Bio in the South, Limari in the North and Leyda valley on the Pacific coast. And Chile produce some excellent Cabernets and Malbecs to rival its neighbour on the other side of the Andes!! Join us for a fascinating tasting.
