The Judgement of Paris Revisited: France v Napa - Tunbridge Wells

In 1976 Stephen Spurrier put together the famous blind tasting competition to allow the best palates of the wine world to pit the French Burgundy &  Bordeaux giants against the new upstarts from California.  The rest is history..... A bottle of 1973 Chateau Montelena from California took the top spot amongst the white wines and Stag's Leaep for the reds - and so the world woke up to the wines that California had to offer. For this fine wine experience, we'll taste the following: Chardonnay:  Burgundy v Napa Pinot Noir: Burgundy v Napa Cabernet / Merlot: Bordeaux v Napa. Your wine tasting will include 6 tasting portions of our selected wines, tasting portions of local cheese, wine handouts, 2 hr interactive presentation led by our expert, with plenty of time for Q&A.
