Online Tasting - The Different Faces of Chardonnay
Chardonnay is arguably the most famous white grape in the wine world. It’s certainly one of the finest, and it’s definitely a grape with multiple personalities. In some parts of the world, it makes slender, willowy wines, clean and crisp as a mountain stream. Elsewhere it’s bolder and richer, absorbing and then reflecting the warmth and of the sun in ripe splendour. The tendency of some winemakers to smother it with oak has thankfully passed, and the wines are all the better for it.  If you’ve been bypassing Chardonnay in recent years, it’s either time to discover it or it’s time to rediscover it. This online tasting provides the perfect opportunity – and will also appeal to those who’ve never fallen out of love with it. We’ll start with a delicate but tasty wine from the northern reaches of Burgundy before heading to South America to see how the grape performs in Chile’s Casablanca Valley. The finale takes us to New Zealand for a rich but restrained wine from Hawke’s Bay on the North Island. Book your online access below and we will send instructions on how to join the meeting through the Zoom platform from a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone. The session will last around an hour. Once you have booked your online access for the tasting, CLICK HERE to order your wines from Kwoff. The price for all three wines including delivery is £45** – you’ll need to place your order by Monday July 13th to allow time for delivery.
