Online: WSET Level 1 Award in Wines

Join Enjoy Discovering Wine for a fun, one day introductory wine course. Held online once a month on a Sunday, the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines takes approximately six hours to complete – 2 x two hour online sessions with your educator and the rest of the group, plus two hours of home study. Whether you want to know more about wine for your own interest or to further your career in hospitality, food or drink, this globally recognised wine qualification is a great introduction to identifying wine styles, learning the basics about food & wine pairing and how best to store and serve wine. It’s a relaxed and fun way to spend a Sunday and gives you the confidence to select the right wine for you, whether in a shop or from a wine list. Gift vouchers are available if you would like to book this course as a gift. Your WSET Level 1 Study Book and all the wines to be tasted during the course are included in the course fee. In addition to these you will need to have:

• six wine glasses
• black grapes
• salt
• lemon
• sweet biscuit
• chilli crisps or nuts
• extra mature cheddar.

Timings – Online classes 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
