SHOWCASING AUSTRIAN WINES WORKSHOP
Austria is a small and beautiful wine producing country although sadly we don’t often get to see much of their wines which is surprising bearing in mind the quality. One of the words often used to describe these wines is “tension”.  This might seem an unusual way to describe a wine but it relates to the energy and precision of the wine.  Austrian wines are all about reflecting the terroir or soil on which the vines are grown and they are truly fabulous.  The character of the wines is based on seven elements; 1.  The Climate 2.  The Land 3.  The Grapes 4.  The Culture 5.  Nature 6.  Value for Money 7.  The Taste Join us at this workshop to find out more and taste some fabulous Austrian fizz, lovely fruit driven elegant whites as well as some stunning reds with great finesse. Starting with a Sekt (sparkling) we’ll then go onto enjoy a range of six superb Austrian Wines. Come on your own or with a friend these evenings are friendly, informal and informative. We also enjoy some cheese and charcuterie nibbles and a chat after the tasting.
