West London Wine School: Pure Class: Alsace Grand Cru Riesling

West London Wine School founder Jimmy Smith, jumped into his orange VW campervan this Summer and traversed Northern and Eastern France visiting a plethora of great domaines and chateaux in order to bring back some truly stunning wines for his own personal tastings.

This is a truly delightful evening showcasing the "King of the White Grapes"Riesling, from Alsace, where it is often crafted into complex, delicious and long-lived styles. All the wines hail from Grand Cru vineyard sites that are the epitome of Alsatian wine. We'll taste through seven different Grand Crus, ranging from 2011 to 2015, with all of the wines expressing development through bottle ageing. The wines retail at £25-£40 per bottle
