Wines of the Rhône Valley with Linda Field with West London Wine School

We are hosting a Rhone Valley Masterclass to give you the opportunity to learn more about this region and taste some great new wines. Our special guest presenter is Linda Field, a Certified WSET Educator who now lives in the Rhone Valley where she runs the wine school, Auberge du Vin. We visit Linda each year with a group of wine schoolers and explore this wonderful region - it really is a vinous area to make your mouth water! The evening will cover an overview of the different appellations of the Rhone Valley, from Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage in the North to the Luberon Valley in the South, and an explanation of the different styles of wine produced. You will taste at least seven different wines, including several different top red wines from the Côtes du Rhône which offer quality and value. Linda will share her findings about current winemaking practices, marketing and tourism and bring you right up to date with this dynamic and exciting wine region.
