Ch Lascombes 2021 Margaux

16

55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Cask sample.
Very dark purplish crimson right out to the rim. Quite a bruiser. Definitely not an obvious expression of Margaux’s delicacy but not too sweet and not too heavy compared with some other vintages from this property. Just a little aggressive in terms of the acid and tannin impact on the decidedly inky – rather than fruity – finish.
