Ch Prieuré-Lichine 2021 Margaux

16.5

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Cask sample.
Purplish crimson. Solid, substantial, young red bordeaux that doesn’t taste as though it came from an underripe vintage. Mouth-filling with quite enough fruit and decided freshness. Plus quite a bit of ripe tannin on the end. More concentrated than most Margaux. Very solid performance even if a little chunkier than archetypal Margaux.
